Bridgestar
Bridgestar, an initiative of the Bridgespan Group, is a nonprofit organization providing talent-matching services, content, and tools designed to help organizations build strong leadership teams and individuals pursue career paths as nonprofit leaders.
Its goal is: to attract, connect, and support senior talent, leading to greater organizational effectiveness and social impact.

Oliver Tessier represented Bridgestar and its work to DC-area nonprofits and members of the community that supports them, inviting feedback and participation to assist Bridgestar in analyzing of the potential for expanding its services to Washington, DC.
He facilitated an education event for professionals who want to move into the nonprofit sector from business or government, and co-presented a Bridgestar workshop on the hiring process at the 2006 Mayor’s Public Private Partnership conference.

Presentations & Professional Development Workshops
Oliver Tessier facilitated a Bridgestar hosted education event for professionals who want to move into the nonprofit sector from business or government, and co-presented a Bridgestar workshop on the hiring process at the 2006 Mayor’s Public Private Partnership conference.
In collaboration with Bridgestar’s executive search team, Oliver Tessier developed an education workshop entitled Navigating the Hiring Process. This workshop, geared to hiring managers, offers a detailed professional view of the hiring process from the perspective of nonprofits seeking to attract highly qualified talent. It will be presented by Bridgestar in a variety of venues.
